HOW TO PICK WEDDING DETAILS THAT MATTER
Hello friends! I can't believe it is already April - crazy! One of my biggest goals for this year was to create more content that is helpful for all couples while they plan their weddings. I plan on talking about picking the right vendors for you, planning your timeline, and choosing meaningful details that you want to be incorporated in to your forever story!
Today, we are starting small. I want to talk about some of my favorite parts of a wedding day: the details! I am so passionate about curating and carefully choosing details that are meaningful to you and your partner. This could be a family heirloom, such as a necklace from your grandmother, or cufflinks from your father.
Whatever you choose, make sure it is meaningful to you! Not only that, but make sure you set them aside for your photographer to capture. I always start a wedding day with styling and taking photos of both bridal and groom details. Here is a list of some details you want to make sure you put aside in one spot for your photographer:
Rings - all three!
Special jewelry - earrings, necklaces, bracelets, etc.
Bouquet + other flowers
Special items - vow book, bible, etc.
Gifts to/from your partner
Make sure to set aside anything special your bridesmaids are wearing as well!
This list also applies to the men! Here are some of the items I look for when styling groom details:
Any special jewelry
Other items of significance - vow book, bible, etc.
The basic rule of thumb is to set aside anything that is significant to you or your partner! As a photographer, my job is to immortalize those memories for you and your family to view for generations!
