Chelsea and Buck reached out to me via a new app I have been using - Thumbtack. I didn't really know that it existed until recently, when one of my coworkers at my day job told me about it. She used to be a wedding planner in my area, so she knew about different marketing tricks, which was super helpful. So when I saw Chelsea post about needing a photographer in five days, I knew I wanted to jump on it. October 7th was the one Saturday I wasn't booked this fall, so the timing was perfect!

I met up with Buck in the morning on the 7th, and he welcomed me to his home and intoruced me to his family. The ceremony space outside was set up very simply, but with gorgeous fall touches. Chelsea sure had a vision when she was planning this day! I had plenty of time to take photos of the dress, shoes, rings and other special items. The ceremony was short, but incredibly sweet, as these two made their life-long commitment to each other official. Afterward, we took photos with all the wedding guests, and then we got to take bride and groom photos! Even though I was only there for 2 hours or so, I very much enjoyed my time getting to know Chelsea, Buck and their family. I can't wait for their winter anniversary session at the Alamo Drafthouse! Enjoy some of my favorites from the morning :)
