the process begins
with choosing a collection from the three I offer. These collections can be found on the next page, and allow you to choose your price based on what type of experience and products you would like. Once your deposit is paid and contract is signed, I will help you and your senior choose the perfect outfits and locations around Central Virginia* for your session. We pick a date based on which season you want your photos in, and then it is all set!
*I absolutely love to travel! Any locations chosen that is 1 hour or more travel time from Waynesboro, VA will incur additional fees to compensate for travel time and gas.

around 2 weeks after the session, I will email you a link to the online gallery of finished images. These images are fully-downloadable, and perfect for sharing with friends and family! Prints are available to be purchased through the online gallery, or you can email me if you’d like me to take care of it.
if you have chosen to
purchase a photo book, album, or matted print, we will meet up or communicate via email which photos you would like, and then I will get busy designing! Initial album designs will be sent approximately one week after you tell me which images you would like. After everything is approved by you, the book is sent off to be printed. Once I receive the book, I will, depending on your location, package it to ship to you, or hand deliver myself.
Senior sessions begin at $300 for 1 hour of shooting time, 2 outfits and 1 location.

Do you recommend professional hair and makeup? If so, do you have a preferred vendor?
I absolutely do! I work with a couple local hair and makeup artists to make you look and feel your best. Think of it as a pampering session to build your confidence before you rock your senior portraits! A couple of my favorite stylists are Brooke Christine Designs and First Look Artistry. If you wish to schedule hair and makeup for your session, please let me know, and I will do all of the coordinating so you won’t have to!
What should I wear to my session?
I always tell my seniors to wear whatever makes them feel most comfortable! I would bring one dressier outfit, and one more casual outfit for sure - and the rest is up to you! I am more than happy to take you shopping if you are looking to pick up a new outfit for the session, and I have partnered with a few boutiques in the area. All of this is included in the senior experience guide!
Where should we do my session?
I have a whole list of favorite spots included in my senior session guide! There are plenty of gorgeous mountain overlooks, downtown areas, and flower-filled fields for us to use, so we can work together to find a location that fits the vibe you are aiming for!
What if it is forecasted to rain?
If the meteorologists are calling for rain, I will call you the morning of to talk about our options. We most likely will reschedule the shoot, mainly because we don’t want to waste that pretty hair and makeup you paid for!
